Position Summary :
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead the growth of our bakery division at Magnolia Foods LLC, an innovated and fast-growing food company. The position will focus on expanding our line of bakery products, identifying, and developing new business opportunities, and fostering strong relationships with our top customers in retail, wholesale, and foodservice. The ideal candidate will have a significant experience in bakery product sales, along with a deep understanding of bakery market trends, and consumer preferences, as well as a proven track record in business development and profitable sales growth.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement a strategic business plan specifically for the bakery division to drive profitable revenue growth and market share.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities and key markets for expansion, focusing on retail chains, foodservice, wholesale, and bakery outlets.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, retailers, foodservice operators, and industry partners ensuring the success of our bakery products.
- Conduct market research to stay ahead of trends within the bakery departments, competitive analysis, and leverage insights to refine the product offerings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, and R&D) to align business objectives and ensure smooth execution of new business initiatives.
- Negotiate and close deals with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that drive long-term partnerships.
- Develop sales forecasts, budgets, and business plans to achieve company revenue goals.
- Monitor sales performance, provide regular updates to senior leadership, and adjust strategies as necessary to meet targets.
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and networking functions to promote the bakery division and establish relationships with potential customers.
