Duties
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow.
- Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations.
- Assist guests with inquiries, helping them navigate the menu and making recommendations when necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
- Collaborate with waitstaff and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service.
- Utilize POS system for managing reservations and seating efficiently.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in restaurant settings is preferred, showcasing familiarity with food service operations.
- Strong phone etiquette skills to communicate effectively with guests over the phone.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with guests and team members alike.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
