Inside Sales Estimator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with strong basic math skills to join our team in a dynamic role as an Inside Sales Estimator. In this position, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely quotes and consulting with customers both on the phone and via email. Additional responsibilities related to outside purchasing are available for the right candidate, with opportunities to expand the role based on skills, experience, education, and company needs.

Hours are 7:45 AM - 4:30 PM Monday through Friday but some flexibility is available for the right candidate. This is an in-office position and not remote. Our Omaha office is located near 108th and Maple Streets in Omaha.

About Our Company:

We are a 139-year-old industrial manufacturer of bronze bar stock metals, castings, rough machined, and completely finished parts for a variety of industries. Our clientele includes both large corporations and small businesses, located across the United States and internationally. While the majority of our work is conducted through online platforms, we also provide support via phone for customers seeking assistance directly from our office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate cost estimates and quotes for customers based on their project requirements.
• Communicate with customers through phone and email, addressing inquiries, explaining product details, and providing tailored recommendations.
• Work closely with sales and production teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a professional and friendly relationship with clients, understanding their needs and offering solutions to meet their project goals.

Qualifications:

• Solid mathematical skills with the capability to calculate quotes and estimates.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for clear and professional interactions with customers.
• Previous experience in sales, estimating, or a similar customer-facing role is a plus.
• An educational background in business or sales is beneficial but not required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) and comfortable using business management software.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: Hourly with flexible wage ($20.00-$24.00/hour) based on prior work experience and education
