We prefer that Medicare / Skilled Nurses (RN/LPN) have the following:
- Must possess a valid nursing license
- Posses current CPR certification
- Skilled Nursing Facility experience
- Strong Leadership Abilities in long term care or like environment
Job Description and Responsibilities for Medicare / Skilled Nurse (RN/LPN) include:
- Manages the care for the skilled residents
- Rounds with the doctor, monitors the improvement of residents
- Ensures assessments are completed and documentd timely
- Ensures labs are ordered and uploaded in to the chart
- Ensures all orders are uploaded in the chart
- Ensures follow-up appointments are set and orders uploaded
- Must have complete and accurate charting
- Must Be Willing to assist with direct patient care
- Ensure that all team members are adhering to the facilities dedication of promoting the best plan of care for all residents
- Must attend all meetings set forth by the Director of Nursing, Administrator and/or Nurse Consultant.
- Possess a professional demeanor with Doctors, Clinics, and other professionals.
- Ensure clear communication with all department managers.
