Job Title: Housekeeper/Dog Nanny

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Housekeeper/Dog Nanny to maintain a clean and organized household while providing loving care and attention to our pets. The ideal candidate will have strong cleaning skills, experience with pet care, and the ability to multitask effectively in a family-oriented environment. The job is a flex-schedule job because we travel to care for family each month and need an in-home house sitter/pet nanny for those times (typically 1-2 weeks out of the month). During periods while we are home, we are looking for someone who can be there 1-2 days a week willing to help with home and pet care needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Housekeeping Duties:
• Clean, organize, and maintain all areas of the home, including living areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, garage and kitchen.
• Perform laundry tasks, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing clothes and linens.
• Ensure the kitchen is tidy, including dishwashing, wiping down surfaces, and managing pantry/fridge inventory.
• Assist with light meal preparation as needed.
• Manage household supplies and notify when items need replenishing.
• Help maintain plant care schedule.
• Pet Care Responsibilities:
• Provide daily care for household pets, including feeding, walking (potentially), and playing with dogs.
• Maintain a clean environment for pets, including cleaning up in the dog room and indoor living space
• Monitor pet behavior and report any concerns to the pet owner.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in housekeeping or a similar role.
• Experience with dog care, including walking, feeding, and basic training techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow household routines.
• Good interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor toward pets and family members.
• Flexibility with work hours to accommodate the needs of the household.

Working Conditions:

• Position may require lifting light to moderate weights and frequent bending and kneeling.
• Role may involve outdoor activities (i.e walking dogs) in various weather conditions.

Compensation:

· Due to the flex nature of this job compensation will be worked out in hourly/daily rates. It will be important to keep record of hours worked.

· Performance based tips and bonuses will be considered as additional compensation.

· Compensation will be discussed further during the interview process.
