What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Manager position at Magnow?
Responsibilities:
- Review of the preconstruction documents for conformity of QC standards and best practices
- Conduct on-site kickoff meetings\ pre-installation meetings\ periodic inspections of the following but not limited to:
- Below/above grade waterproofing
- Roofing
- Windows/Doors
- Weather barrier
- Cladding (masonry, siding, metal panel, etc.)
- Gypcrete
- Assist with providing field training to our team and partner subcontractors
- Assist in managing and distribution of QC standards for the region.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 year of construction experience. Multi-Family Experience preferred. IIBEC accreditation is preferred and\or willingness to acquire.
- The exceptional candidate is detail oriented, can manage multiple priorities, and has strong management and communication skills.
- Must be comfortable learning and using technology including the ability to learn sector specific software such as ProCore or BlueBeam, and some experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Must be able to work weekends as needed.
- Must be able to travel statewide (based out of Tampa) to project sites as needed.
- Must possess a Valid driver’s license, with a clean driving history.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must possess an OSHA 30hr course completion card and First Aid / CPR certification card or complete the training within the first 3 months of employment. Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to safely navigate a construction project site including walking on uneven surfaces, climbing stairs and climbing ladders.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
