Job Description
Position: Accountant
Status: Full-time, Non-exempt
Department: Finance & Accounting
Manager: Laurenne Arnold, Controller
Hours: TBD at time of hire
Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team. You will be responsible for a full range of accounting functions. Our ideal candidate is familiar with all accounting procedures and has a flair for numbers.
Responsibilities:
· Daily invoicing of customers, accounts receivable collections, coding of accounts payable invoices, ACH & check runs, all while ensuring accuracy of data and reconciling open orders.
· Assist with month end close & preparing financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flows and examining financial records to ensure their accuracy and posting general journal entries as necessary.
· Prepare periodic reports and returns as needed, such as Sales Reports for various rebate programs & royalty payments, sales tax returns for various states along with sales tax certificate verifications and 1099 reporting.
· Payroll reporting and reconciling.
Requirements:
· Minimum of an Associate’s degree in accounting.
· 3-5 years’ experience in the accounting field.
· Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications to efficiently perform tasks and prepare reports. (Knowledge of Acumatica software a plus).
· Strong mathematical skills to perform and review numerical computations with precision.
· Good analytical and problem-solving skills to understand complex financial data and detect any discrepancies.
· Time-management skills to meet strict deadlines for financial reporting.
· Professional integrity and ethical standards to handle sensitive and confidential information responsibly.
· Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and keep financial records orderly.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
