Job Overview
The Environmental Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing and implementing environmental policies and programs within the organization. Duties
- Develop, implement, and manage environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct environmental assessments and audits to identify potential risks and areas for improvement.
- Prepare, review, update, and present reports on issues related to the environment.
- Oversee wastewater treatment operations, ensuring efficient processes that meet regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with project/plant management to integrate environmental considerations into project designs.
- Utilize software tools such as ArcGIS and AutoCAD for mapping, analysis, and design purposes.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to achieve project goals.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on environmental practices and compliance requirements.
- Manage systems conforming to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 19011:2018.
- Obtain, update, and maintain plans, permits, and standard operating procedures.
- Engage with stakeholders to promote sustainability initiatives and foster a culture of environmental responsibility.
Requirements
- Proven experience in management within an engineering or environmental context. Degree in related field is desired but not required.
- Strong knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and regulations.
- Proficiency in software applications such as ArcGIS, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant engineering tools.
- Mechanical knowledge related to fabrication processes is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in assessing environmental impacts.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Pay: $62,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
