Environmental and Safety Risk Manager
The Environmental and Safety Risk Manager will be responsible for identifying and mitigating potential environmental and safety risks within the plant. This role involves conducting periodic inspections of plant machinery, equipment, and working conditions to ensure conformance to appropriate safety and health standards and regulations. The successful candidate will also maintain accurate daily, weekly, and monthly safety and health metrics reporting to onsite management teams and corporate-based reporting systems.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or related field required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Certification as Occupational Safety and Health Technician (OSHTEC), Associate Safety Professional (ASP), Certified Safety Professional (CSP), or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH).
- Minimum of 4 years diversified experience in safety, loss prevention, emergency response management, consulting, supervision, and administration in a manufacturing environment required (preferably automotive).
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong technical knowledge of environmental and safety regulations and standards.
- Ability to analyze data and make recommendations for improvement.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment/Conditions
This role requires working in an open office environment, moderate noise level, and may require occasional travel. The ability to sit and work on a computer for extensive periods is required. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is required to talk, see, and hear. The team member must be capable of walking, sitting, and standing for extended periods and may be occasionally required to lift up to 30 pounds.
