Mahantech is seeking two experienced Desktop Support Specialists to support our Windows 11 Upgrade Project by migrating from Windows 10 and Office 365 (32-bit) to Windows 11 and Office 365 (64-bit).
These specialists will be responsible for upgrading and reimaging workstations, installing and configuring Office 365, and troubleshooting upgrade-related issues. The role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a customer service-oriented approach while working with end users and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Upgrade and reimage workstations from Windows 10 to Windows 11.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Microsoft Office 365 (64-bit) and related software.
- Utilize Endpoint Management Systems for deployment and system administration.
- Use a Workstation Imaging Solution to streamline system deployments.
- Maintain and update records using a Service Management Ticketing System.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the upgrade process.
- Track, document, and report deployment status and upgrade progress.
- Provide exceptional end-user support, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruptions.
- Collaborate with technical teams and senior staff to ensure efficient project execution.
- Work independently while adhering to project timelines and team objectives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4 years of hands-on experience with Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems.
- 4 years in a Help Desk/Technical Support role.
- Proficiency with Endpoint Management Systems.
- Experience using a Workstation Imaging Solution.
- Hands-on experience with Service Management Ticketing Systems.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Office 365 applications.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service to end users, technical teams, and senior staff.
Preferred Skills (Desired but Not Required)
- Experience with PowerShell scripting and/or SQL reporting.
- Familiarity with Symantec Altiris and Microsoft Intune.
- Experience using Ivanti Service Desk.
- Hands-on experience with the Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT).
- Working knowledge of Active Directory administration.
