What are the responsibilities and job description for the Help Desk Technician position at Mahima Bhauta?
Candidate required to assist with a Domain Migration project. The project will consist of moving associated user profiles, accounts, and data to a new domain. This role will be the City's boots on the ground to interact with the City's partners.
Daily duties will include:
- Documentation:
- User information (username).
- Host computer information (host name, IP address).
- Software Asset Inventory.
- Hardware Asset Inventory.
- Ensuring all systems are captured within the asset management system.
- Identification of user files not on OneDrive.
- Assist supervisors with pre-migration tasks:
- Ensuring systems are properly connected to the network.
- Coordinating with System Administrators and Technical Support Team prior to migration.
- Provide technical support to the end user post-migration.
- Identify/communicate newly discovered errors to the Project Manager.
- Provide telephonic support.
- Other tasks as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A Certification
Preferred Qualifications:
- Security Certification
- Associate degree in IT-related field, or 2-year documentable experience
- Documented Windows 10/11 experience
- Documented Microsoft Office experience
- Interview experience: Resume review for quals then a short interview to determine fit and Windows 10 technical knowledge.
