As a Compressor Design Engineer at Mahle Engine Components Usa, Inc., you will play a crucial role in the development of electrically driven AC compressors. This mechatronic product is essential for future hybrid or fully electrified powertrains.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Designing and developing AC compressor components in collaboration with a team of engineers and designers, focusing on the electronics portion of the compressor.
Developing validation programs for OEM customers to ensure successful launch of their programs.
Participating in innovation, product cost, and quality improvement initiatives.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
Minimum 2 years of experience in design and/or development of mechanical or mechanically driven rotational devices; 5 years of experience is a plus.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in pre-development, testing, and/or validation.
Automotive industry experience is a plus.
