Your Contribution
As a Senior Business Analyst reporting to the Director of Aftermarket Controlling, you will be responsible for driving business performance through analysis, collaboration and presentations including in the areas of Customer Profitability, Product Profitability, and Procurement cost (including Inter-company Transfer Price modeling). Successful outcomes will be achieved through collaboration across functions, and regions as well as other Business Units and service functions.
Key role in budgeting, forecasting, and actual performance reporting processes of Aftermarket North America.
Ensure effective collaboration with the Sales and Product Management Functions ensuring high quality strategic financial planning, short to medium term forecasting, and ad hoc reporting to meet the needs of the business while ensuring compliance with relevant regional and global standards.
Ensure preparation of and timely reporting of Sales Forecasts, Customer Profitability and Product Profitability. Create and deliver high quality presentations to drive effective communication of Performance, and drive initiative to ensure achievement of Business Plan KPI’s.
Manage Transfer Price between MAHLE entities including development of models and driving collaborations which support “MAHLE first” outcomes and fair profit split between trading partners while complying with MAHLE Transfer Price Guidelines.
Actively participate in development of Quotation strategies with Sales, Pricing, Procurement and Operations including creation of the Financial Models to forecast the impact on essential KPI’s such as Sales, ROS, Inventory and ONCF.
Key participant to ensure timely and accurate completion of the monthly financial reporting process including analyzing actual vs. budget variances, preparing material to effectively communicate results and manage future performance, and any ad hoc requirements.
Establish business partner relationship with the Plant Controlling, Regional Controlling Services, Shared Service Centers, and Global Controlling Team.
Your Experience & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or equivalent experience in an aftermarket or similar distribution company.
Project and process management experience for at least five years.
Comprehensive knowledge about core financial concepts and systems, including SAP or similar. Knowledge of MAHLE specific systems such as MARS, MAIA and S4 Hana preferred.
