Job Description:
The Mahoning Valley Scrappers are currently looking for a detail oriented, creative minded individual to join the fast paced Marketing Department as the Production Manager (full time seasonal- May – Sept 5 est.). The Production Manager is responsible for the team’s creative elements and game production. The responsibilities will also include assisting other departments when needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop all team brochures, promotional posters, team graphics, signage and additional materials as needs arise.
- Follow advertising schedules to create all artwork and meet deadlines for digital, print, LED signage, social media campaigns, etc.
- Create promotional videos, homestand highlight videos, player videos, etc.
- Work with Promotions Manager to follow game scripts and elements.
- Create a fun and exciting game atmosphere
- Oversee game streaming and scheduling
- Manage and be proficient using equipment in production room (Audio Architect, Click Effects, Tricaster, Motion Rocket, camera equipment, etc.)
- Manage Press Box, game notes, rosters
- Oversee and train all employees in the production room
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and 1 years of production, graphics, editing experience
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, coupled with strong oral and written communication skills
- Previous experience working in sports, specifically in a marketing department is a plus
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
- Effective customer service skills
