CNC Machine Operator
Location: Newark, NJ (In-Person)
Salary Range: $70,000–$120,000 annually (based on experience)
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team in Newark, NJ. This role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to ensure precise production of components. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and experienced in CNC machining within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Machine Setup and Operation:
Prepare and operate CNC machines to perform milling, turning, drilling, and other machining operations.
- Programming Adjustments:
Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications, making necessary program modifications for accuracy.
- Quality Assurance:
Inspect finished workpieces to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications, using tools like calipers and micrometers.
- Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure machine functionality and minimize downtime.
- Safety and Documentation:
Follow safety protocols and maintain detailed records of machine settings, production runs, and quality checks.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CNC Machine Operator in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of technical drawings, specifications, and CNC programming.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining quality standards.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work additional hours as needed.
