Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Global HR & Talent Management to lead our HR function in a large ecommerce organization. In this role, you will design and implement comprehensive HR strategies that drive global recruitment, talent development, and employee engagement. You'll work closely with both in-house and outside recruiters, enforce accountability through 90-day goal check-ins, and ensure our teams—remote and local—are aligned with our company's vision. The ideal candidate is a polished professional who understands ecommerce, marketing, and various organizational roles, and is a true go-getter with structured leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

HR Strategy & Leadership :

Develop and execute a global HR strategy aligned with business objectives.

Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on workforce planning and talent management.

Global Talent Acquisition & Development :

Oversee recruitment initiatives, working with in-house and external recruiters to attract top talent.

Implement training and development programs to nurture career growth and build leadership skills.

Team Accountability & Performance :

Establish and enforce 90-day goal check-ins for teams and new hires.

Monitor performance metrics and hold teams accountable to ensure operational excellence.

Policy Implementation & Compliance :

Design, implement, and continuously improve HR policies and procedures for both global and local operations.

Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.

Employee Engagement & Advocacy :

Act as the trusted voice for both employees and leadership, fostering open communication and a positive workplace culture.

Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.

Data-Driven Decision Making :

Utilize HR analytics to monitor key performance indicators, report on workforce trends, and inform strategic decisions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration :

Collaborate with marketing, ecommerce, and operations teams to understand organizational needs and tailor HR strategies accordingly.

Must-Haves

Proven experience in global HR leadership with expertise in talent management and recruitment, particularly in ecommerce or technology-driven environments.

Strong background in working with both in-house and external recruiters.

Demonstrated success in creating and enforcing team accountability programs (e.g., 90-day goal check-ins).

Deep understanding of ecommerce operations, marketing, and the nuances of various organizational roles.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a polished and structured approach to leadership.

Qualifications

Minimum 7 years in HR leadership roles within large, complex organizations.

In-depth knowledge of global and local HR compliance, talent development, and recruitment strategies.

Proficiency with HRIS, CRM, and analytics tools to track and optimize HR performance.

Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Experience in ecommerce or technology sectors is highly preferred.
