We’re looking for a VP of Engineering to lead and scale our engineering team in an innovative fintech company . This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll take a startup engineering culture and transform it into a structured, scalable, and process-driven organization .
The ideal candidate is a strong technical leader with a background in C# .NET , experience in agile sprints , and a deep understanding of scaling engineering teams . Key Responsibilities
Engineering Leadership & Team Scaling
- Build, scale, and structure the engineering team from individual contributors to a high-performing, well-structured organization .
- Create clear processes, structure, and best practices for engineering execution.
- Implement sprint-based development methodologies and ensure smooth workflow.
Technical Strategy & Execution
Oversee system architecture, scalability, and software development best practices .Ensure technical decisions align with business objectives and long-term growth .Optimize and balance speed, efficiency, and tech debt to drive sustainable development.Evaluate and build new features and improvements with a strategic mindset.Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with VP of Product, developers, and leadership to align engineering with business goals.Be an effective communicator with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Foster a positive, collaborative engineering culture while driving accountability and results.Must-Have Experience
Proven experience as a VP of Engineering or similar leadership role .Successfully scaled engineering teams from startup to structured processes .Experience with C# .NET.Strong understanding of agile development, sprints, and process management .Hands-on development background —must have been a developer before moving into leadership.Experience managing engineering teams in fast-growth, high-impact environments .Strong operational mindset —ability to structure teams, processes, and execution strategies.Not a “yes man” —should be able to stand firm on technical and operational decisions.Excellent people management skills —friendly, kind, but able to hold people accountable.Why Join Us?
