Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Salon Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role involves managing appointments, handling transactions, and supporting the overall operations of the salon.
Duties
- Greet clients warmly upon arrival and assist them with check-in procedures.
- Manage appointment scheduling and confirmations using salon management software.
- Handle cash register operations, including cash handling and processing payments through POS systems.
- Maintain an organized reception area, ensuring it is clean and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Provide product demonstrations and assist clients with product inquiries to enhance retail sales.
- Support salon staff by coordinating client flow and managing wait times effectively.
- Perform basic math calculations for transactions
Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service or retail sales is preferred.
- Familiarity with cash registers, cash handling, and POS systems is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with a friendly demeanor to engage with clients effectively.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing and inventory tracking.
