Seeking Professional Cleaner - Independent Contractor (1099)
Maid For Business is seeking a motivated and detailed-oriented individual who takes pride in their work and can consistently maintain a high standard for quality residential and commercial cleaning services.
Location:
- Louisville and surrounding areas including Southern Indiana
-Must pass a background check and drug test at employers expense.
-Contractor will be responsible for providing their own cleaning equipment such as, but not limited to;
- -All purpose vacuum
- -Cleaning clothes
- - Cleaning products such as: brushes and sanitizers & cleaning solutions
-Must provide at least 3 professional and personal references.
-Contractor will be working closely with one other Professional Cleaner.
-Contractors must provide their own reliable transportation.
Compensation:
- $20 per hour while training; after training $30/hr
- THIS IS A 1099 CONTRACTING POSITION!
-Training will last a minimum of 4-8 weeks depending on experience and skills.
Training Schedule: (times may be approximate and may vary)
Monday 9am-3pm
Tuesday 9:30am-6pm
Wednesday 9am-1pm
Thursday 9am-4pm
Friday 8:30am-5:30pm
Starting in May, the right candidate will be available to work 7 days a week, 3rd shift, after 8pm for an additional hour and a half to five hours to allow another contractor to take a maternity leave of absence. This position will be to clean two separate funeral homes on a daily basis as needed. The right candidate must be willing to work with another independent contractor as needed to fulfill contractual assignments for two funeral homes.
Service provided for cleaning the funeral home would include the following. Contractor must have the capabilities of fulfilling all duties.
- 1. Taking all the trash (inside and outside) to the dumpster outside.
- 2. Thoroughly cleaning both men and women's restrooms.
- 3. Refilling soap dispensers.
- 4. Refilling toilet paper.
- 5. Refilling tissues throughout the building.
- 6. Refilling paper towels.
- 7. Cleaning walls checking for fingerprints.
- 8. Cleaning switch plates checking for fingerprints.
- 9. Cleaning doors and door frames checking for fingerprints.
- 10. Vacuuming all carpets and rugs.
- 11. Moping all hard floors thoroughly.
- 12. Dusting and wiping clean surfaces in the front entryway.
- 13. Dusting and wiping clean surfaces in viewing rooms.
- 14. Dusting and wiping clean surfaces in the chapel.
- 15. Dusting and wiping clean surfaces in the kitchen/lounge.
- 16. Wiping out microwaves and refrigerators.
- 17. Making sure trash cans are wiped clean.
- 18. Dusting and wiping clean surfaces in arrangement rooms.
- 19. Dusting and wiping clean employee offices.
- 20. Making sure the utility/flower room is tidy and vacuumed
- 21. Making sure cigarette butts outside are cleaned up.
- 22. Making sure vents, lamps, fans, baseboards and corners will be kept clean from dust and cobwebs.
Experience:
- Previous experience in commercial or residential cleaning preferred
- Familiarity with using cleaning equipment and supplies
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Skills:
- Floor care: Experience in maintaining different types of flooring surfaces (e.g., hardwood, tile, carpet)
- Sanitation: Knowledge of proper cleaning and sanitizing techniques to maintain a hygienic environment
- Commercial cleaning: Understanding of specialized cleaning procedures for commercial spaces (e.g., offices, retail stores)
- Customer service: Good communication skills to interact with clients and address their needs or concerns
- Time management: Ability to organize and prioritize tasks efficiently
- Cleaning: Thorough understanding of various cleaning techniques and products for different surfaces
