What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal - Elevator Operator position at Maid of the Mist?
MAID OF THE MIST since 1846, a family owned and operated company in the spectacular Niagara Falls, NY is currently recruiting for our 2023 Season. We are looking for dedicated staff members to join our team. The ideal candidate will be available to work Seasonally Full-Time or Seasonally Part-Time from April-November. We also have summer or student positions available from May-August (college) or June-September (high-school). Must be able to work weekends on a rotating basis and holidays; Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Labor Day.
The Maid of the Mist is looking for an Elevator Operator who is available Full Time or Part Time (3-5 days per week). This individual will be responsible for the direct oversight of its customers at the Elevator Tower, loading passengers and being in a fully enclosed elevator for much of the day. The position requires an individual who possesses customer service, basic communication skills, a positive demeanor, and has the ability to interact with the public on a daily basis.
