Job Title: Live-In Nanny

Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday (Flexible hours, some evenings may be required)
About the Family:
We are a warm, loving family in Port Washington, NJ, seeking a dependable and caring live-in nanny to join our household. We have three children aged 7, 5, and 2 years old, and we are looking for a responsible and energetic individual to help care for them and provide a nurturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Childcare: Provide attentive care and supervision for our three children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Engage them in age-appropriate activities to encourage learning, creativity, and development.
- Household Support: Assist with light housekeeping, including meal prep. Deep cleaning is handled by a housekeeping service twice a week.
- Flexible Hours: The role requires flexibility with hours. Some workdays may end early if help is not needed, but occasionally evening hours will be required based on the family's schedule and needs.
- Daily Routine: Help maintain a consistent daily routine for the children, including meals, naps, and bedtime routines.
Requirements:
- Previous live-in experience caring for children, especially multiple children, preferred.
- 2 years of professional childcare experience required
- References from previous positions required
- A candidate with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record is preferred
- Ability to engage children in a positive, educational, and fun manner.
- Willingness to be flexible with working hours, including occasional evenings.
- Comfortable with light housekeeping duties as part of the daily routine.
- Must be reliable, trustworthy, and have a caring, patient demeanor.
- Non-smoker preferred.
Compensation:
- Salary: $1,000 - $1,150 per week, depending on experience and qualifications.
- Room and board provided as part of the live-in position.
