Full-Time Live-In Nanny Needed – Locust Valley

- Kids' Ages: 10-year-old girl, 8-year-old girl, 3-year-old boy
- Salary: $1,200-1,500/week (flexible based on experience)
A loving and organized family in Locust Valley is seeking an experienced, long-term live-in nanny to care for their three children and help keep the household running smoothly. The primary focus will be on the 3-year-old while assisting with driving, school routines, and household tasks.
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday: 7 AM - 7 PM (flexibility required if mom is running late)
- Live-in position with a private bedroom and bathroom
- Must be comfortable occasionally monitoring the children overnight (not every week)
- Start date: ASAP (goal to train alongside the current nanny before transition)
Responsibilities:
- Care for the 3-year-old full-time while older children are in school
- School drop-offs, pickups, and activity transportation for all children
- Plan engaging activities such as arts and crafts
- Light housekeeping, including tidying up, organizing, and keeping common areas clean
- Assist with meal preparation for the children
- Help with homework and keeping schedules organized
- Occasionally monitor the children overnight (not every week)
- Travel with the family domestically as needed (international travel preferred but not required)
Requirements:
- Must have at least 5 years of nanny experience with verifiable references
- Must be a professional, experienced nanny with a strong background in childcare
- Comfortable driving (family provides a car for the nanny)
- Looking for a long-term commitment with a structured and organized family
- Must be mature and responsible (not seeking someone who frequently goes out or an au pair-type candidate)
- Must be comfortable with a hands-on mom who assists with routines when needed
- Family has professional cleaners 3x per week, but the nanny is expected to keep things tidy
