Shipping and Customer Service Specialist
This part-time position has working Saturdays as a requirement, where we are open 10am-4pm, unlike our normal 9am-6pm hours.
The Sammamish Mailpost is a neighborhood business and retail store in Sammamish, WA which offers shipping, copying, and printing services similar to a UPS or FedEx Office store. We are currently looking for an energetic, reliable, and positive individual to work part time and provide excellent customer service for our shipping/mail/retail customers. We offer a very friendly, casual, and flexible working environment with competitive salary. The workplace is a fast paced fun yet relaxed environment so great applicants should be able to match this energy with a positive attitude.
Specific shipping skills can be taught on the job through paid training so great applicants should demonstrate the willingness to learn new skills. Previous knowledge of shipping is NOT required.
This position is currently part time, but has the potential to evolve into full time management with benefits.
JOB RESPONSIBILITES
- Basic computer skills
- Shipping parcels, mail, and packages domestic and internationally
- Package and pack items of all sorts
- The ability to interact with customers in a friendly, warm and caring manner. (Great customer service skills)
- The ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- The ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Secondary language is an asset (not required)
- Previous experience in Shipping, Customer Service, or Retail is an asset

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
