Elementary Classroom Aide Wanted: Must Love Helping Kids Shine (and Be Ready with a Sticker or a Helping Hand) Position: Full-Time Classroom Aide (Positions available in grades 1–5) Are you the kind of person who notices when a student needs a little encouragement—or a fresh pencil? At Gindi Maimonides Academy, we’re looking for a full-time classroom aide who brings warmth, reliability, and a strong sense of purpose to support both teachers and students in our vibrant elementary program. What Makes This Role Special: You won’t be just watching from the sidelines, you’ll be an important part of the classroom experience. You’ll help facilitate learning, support student routines, and keep things running smoothly behind the scenes, all while soaking up real-life teaching experience in a joyful, growth-oriented environment. Responsibilities Include:

• Supporting lead teachers in daily classroom routines, transitions, and activities
• Providing one-on-one or small group support during lessons or independent work
• Helping manage materials, prep activities, and maintain a well-organized space
• Encouraging students with kindness, consistency, and a positive presence
• Assisting with classroom management and reinforcing schoolwide behavior expectations
• Pitching in wherever needed to create a calm, safe, and welcoming learning environment

What We’re Looking For:

• A bachelor’s degree is required
• Someone dependable, flexible, and great with young children
• A team player with strong communication skills and a sense of humor
• A genuine love of children and a desire to contribute to a thoughtful and nurturing school community

Schedule:

• Monday–Thursday: 7:45 AM – 4:30 PM
• Friday: 7:45 AM – 2:30 PM
