About the Role:
We are seeking an SAP FI/CO Analyst, in the Chicago area, to join a small, tight-knit SAP team at a mid-market manufacturing company . The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years in SAP FI/CO. This is an exciting opportunity to work from the ground floor on a brand new S/4 HANA implementation that will kick-off next year.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and participate in SAP FI/CO projects, including S/4 HANA implementation.
- Configure and customize the FI/CO modules (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Costing Profitability Analysis, etc) to meet business requirements.
- Conduct system testing and ensure the quality and functionality of implemented solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP FI/CO with other modules and external systems.
- Provide end-user training and support to ensure effective use of SAP FI/CO functionalities.
- Analyze business processes and identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5-8 years of hands-on experience in SAP FI/CO.
- Proven experience with S/4 HANA implementation projects.
- Strong knowledge of SAP FI/CO core modules: Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL) etc.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP certification in FI/CO.
- Experience in integration with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD).
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
