Main Street Auto is a dynamic and growing organization committed to attracting developing and retaining top talent. We are looking for a Manager of Talent to lead all aspects of human resources while traveling to our various locations to support hiring, onboarding, and employee engagement efforts.
Job Summary
The Manager of Talent will oversee the full spectrum of HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and onboarding. This role requires 75% travel to multiple on-site locations to ensure HR processes are effectively implemented across the company.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Lead end-to-end recruitment efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring top talent.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to develop strategic workforce plans.
- Enhance employer branding and recruiting strategies to attract top candidates.
Onboarding & Employee Engagement
- Oversee and facilitate new hire onboarding at various locations.
- Travel to sites to conduct orientation sessions and ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
Employee Relations & HR Compliance
- Serve as the primary HR contact for employees at various locations.
- Address employee concerns, conduct investigations, and ensure fair resolution of workplace issues.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Maintain and enforce company policies and procedures.
Performance Management & Compensation
- Support performance review cycles, coaching managers on effective feedback.
- Ensure compensation practices are competitive and align with company strategy.
- Assist with benefits administration and employee garnishments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
- 5 years' experience in Human Resources
- Strong recruiting background in a high volume environment
- Ability to travel 75% of the time to various on-site locations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills
- Attention to detail and good judgement
- Paycor experience preferred
- Greenhouse experience preferred
- HireRight experience preferred
