About us
Maine Center for Dental Medicine is a busy holistic dental practice located in Skowhegan. We are looking to expand our team so we can continue to offer all of our patients with the highest quality care. At our practice, we focus on the mind-body connection of how oral health affects the whole body - we practice general dentistry procedures with an integrative approach that adheres to our biologic dentistry philosophy.
Experience is preferred, but not necessary as we are willing to train the right candidate.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist the dentist during procedures, ensuring patient comfort and efficiency
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
- Learn to take X-rays/Obtain dental radiology license within 3-6 months of hire
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Follow proper infection control and safety protocols
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment
Qualifications:
- No prior experience necessary – we provide on-the-job training!
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- A team player with a passion for patient care
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
