Join our team! We are a new office and are growing quickly! We are looking for a Dental Hygiene Assistant to aid our Dental Hygienist. We offer competitive pay, paid holidays, sick days, vacation time, and CE/CPR allowance. Experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate! We are hiring for full time/part time, with office hours of Monday - Wednesday 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. with an hour lunch break. Duties Include:
- Assist the dental hygienist during hygiene procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Take and record patients' vital signs
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Provide post-operative instructions to patients
- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing patient flow
Skills:
- Proficient in dental assisting techniques and procedures
- Ability to perform patient assessments and document findings
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of infection control protocols and procedures
As a Dental Hygiene Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the dental team and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental practice.
