Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality support to the dentist and ensure a smooth and comfortable experience for patients. This role requires excellent organizational skills, technical expertise, and a compassionate approach to patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, including examinations, cleanings, and restorative treatments.
  • Prepare treatment rooms by setting up instruments, materials, and equipment.
  • Take and process dental X-rays while adhering to safety guidelines.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
  • Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment following infection control protocols.
  • Manage patient records, including updating medical histories and recording treatment notes
  • Ensure a welcoming and comfortable environment for all patients.

Qualifications:

  • CDA or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Radiology certification and proficiency in taking X-rays.
  • Familiarity with dental software for charting and scheduling.
  • Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • CPR certification (preferred).

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit, stand, and move for extended periods.
