About the Position
We are seeking a highly qualified Faculty Member in Marine Transportation to join our team at MAINE MARITIME ACADEMY. As a faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching, research, and service activities.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in marine transportation and experience in teaching nautical skills in a higher-education setting. They will also be familiar with electronic and digital advancements in maritime operations.
Responsibilities:
- Teach at the undergraduate level in areas allocated by the Department Head or Dean.
- Contribute to the development, planning, and implementation of a high-quality curriculum.
- Participate in departmental and faculty seminars aimed at building interdisciplinary collaboration within and outside your department.
- Provide advice and support to students.
- Hold at least 4 office hours per week.
