The Maine Maritime Academy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Head Men's Golf Coach to lead the men's golf program. As the head coach, you will be responsible for teaching and training student athletes, conducting high-quality teaching in a humane learning environment, organizing and directing all aspects of a successful and competitive NCAA Division III program, monitoring and promoting the academic and personal growth of student-athletes, ensuring safety of all team members and coaches, developing and managing the program's budget, operating the program in a manner consistent with NCAA and NAC bylaws, developing and maintaining alumni support for the program, supervising assistant coaches/interns, and recruiting and retaining roster of student-athletes.
This job requires strong planning and organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to effectively manage multiple projects. The successful candidate will demonstrate flexibility and initiative, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
