What are the responsibilities and job description for the Math Teacher, Long Term Substitute position at Maine School Administrative District #6?
MSAD 6 is seeking a dynamic Long Term Substitute Math Teacher to join the instructional staff at Bonny Eagle Middle School. The assignment will begin around April 28, 2025 for approximately 6 weeks. The successful candidate will create a flexible instructional program and a class environment favorable to learning and personal growth; establish effective rapport with students assigned to the classroom; motivate pupils to develop attitudes and knowledge needed to ensure that effective learning occurs for each child; and respond to a wide range of inquiries from students' parents or guardians regarding instructional programs and student progress.
Applicants for this position must have degree(s) required in major area of study; Maine Department of Education certification with a #020 endorsement; experience related to the instruction of students of similar age and in the subject area(s) to be assigned; demonstrated positive, professional relationships with students and colleagues; and evidence of a strong desire to work with school-age youth.
