Job Overview:
We are seeking a long term substitute teacher to join our team (March 31-June 12, 2025) As a Long Term Substitute you will support the teaching team in providing a nurturing and educational environment for young children.
Duties:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and activities
- Supervise and engage with children in various educational and play activities
- Support classroom management and ensure a safe learning environment
- Help with behavior management and provide positive reinforcement
Skills:
- Experience working with toddler, preschool, and/or kindergarten aged children
-Knowledge of Montessori principles preferred or willingness to learn
- Knowledge of childhood development and early childhood education principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with young learners
