*PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS AN ON-SITE, IN-PERSON POSITION. CANDIDATE MUST RESIDE IN STATE OF MAINE, POSSIBLE HYBRID OPPORTUNITY ONCE FULLY TRAINED*
The role uses the Credit Union's data analytics system, tools and techniques to help the credit union make informed decisions by gathering, processing, and analyzing data to identify patterns, trends, and insights. This Business Intelligence Analyst will help identify opportunities to leverage data applications for continuous improvement. Ensures data repositories are continually updated and accurate. Utilizes the data warehouse and other data sources throughout the Credit Union.
Qualifications
- Data Analysis: Competent in analyzing complex data to evaluate business processes and identify trends or patterns.
- Data Visualization: Experience with reporting and visualization tools (ie: PowerBI, SSRS).
- SQL: Proficient in SQL for data querying, manipulation, and reporting on data.
- Business Intelligence: Aptitude for transforming raw data into actionable business decisions, with a strong focus on data accuracy and detail.
- Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization, to create data insights that align with organizational goals.
Preferred:
- MSSQL: Experience in MSSQL (or similar RDBMS). Understands key aspects of database design and development.
- Database Administration: Familiarity with DBA, to assist in the oversight of database security and scalability.
- Data Quality & Governance: Knowledge of data governance practices and compliance regulations.
- Data Engineering: Exposure to ETL processes and data engineering. Experience with Visual Studio for deployment of SSIS packages is ideal.
- Automation & AI: Ability to seek process automation opportunities to improve organizational efficiency. Exposure to technologies like Power Automate and Copilot is ideal.
- Financial Institution/CU experience is a plus.
