What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Coordinator position at Maine State Credit Union?
The Facilities Coordinator will provide general maintenance and is responsible for ensuring that the credit union facilities are safe, secure, and maintained appropriately. Provide support in the facilities management of the Credit Union's physical plant and processes. Performs general maintenance duties including courier services, custodial and supply oversight, and assisting with setting up for special events. This position will work closely with all departments to ensure any general maintenance is addressed.
The successful applicant will be a highly motivated, team oriented, positive thinker with a desire to provide exceptional services to internal and external customers. You should have one to three years experience. Working knowledge of building maintenance and vendor management is beneficial in this role. Some of the responsibilities of this position are as follows:
- Assists the Facilities Manager with the management and maintenance of various facility and security related systems. Assists the Facilities Manager with the oversight of vendors and service technicians needed to meet MSCU organizational goals.
- Performs shipping and receiving functions for MSCU. Collects, sorts, and delivers inbound and outbound USPS mail, internal mail, and packages sent and received by 3rd party shippers. Processes special mail requests, records returned mail and other specialized duties. Responsible for daily maintenance and operation of MSCUs postage meter.
- Inspects the grounds at Credit Union facilities on a regular schedule to identify and correct maintenance items, potential safety hazards and to collect all litter/debris from driveways, parking lots, lawn areas, landscape beds, walkways, stairs, entrances. etc.
- Performs routine preventative maintenance/custodial tasks
- Order, assemble and placement of supplies, equipment, furniture, etc
- Performs other duties as assigned
