Job Description
We are seeking a per diem Pharmacy Technician to work at our Augusta Pharmacy. The Pharmacy Technician provides technical support in our pharmacy department that includes preparing and distributing medications under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, maintaining drug inventory, and maintaining patient/resident records.
Hours vary from 10am - 6pm and 8:30am - 4:30pm.

Pharmacy Technician Primary Responsibilities
- Procures and distributes medication orders per physician or pharmacist request
- Fills orders, medication kits or trays, medication carts, or stock requisitions accurately
- Maintains adequate stock of medications and supplies according to established policies and procedures
- Enters medication orders into pharmacy computer system
- Maintains logs, records, and other required documentation accurately
- Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Required Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current Pharmacy Technician certification
- One (1) year pharmacy technician experience preferred
- Ability to communicate with tact and professionalism, both verbally and in writing
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
