Job Description
The Role : Assistant Educator – Early Childhood Education
The Assistant Educator provides support to Early Childhood Education team, providing care for infants through preschool aged children.
The Opportunity :
The Early Learning Center provides services to approximately 68 early learners ranging in ages from 6 weeks to 5 years next door to the Alfond Center for Health as well as our 40 Glenridge Drive location in Augusta.
The Work :
Fosters a safe, nurturing, comfortable environment through clear, positive and encouraging words and actions.
Provides for the health and safety of children to ensure constant supervision of the entire group of children as assigned.
Assists with activities to meet children's physical, intellectual, social, cultural, creative and emotional needs.
You Have :
- Fingerprinting verification through the State of Maine required
- At least 1 year of Early Childhood Education experience preferred
- Previous leadership or management experience preferred
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills
- Proven and demonstrated critical thinking skills
