Job Summary:
MaineGeneral Health is seeking a CDM Analyst to join our Revenue Management Team. This role is essential in maintaining the integrity of the hospital charge description master financial data related to patient services, ensuring accurate charge capture, compliance, and revenue optimization.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure integrity and provide regular maintenance of the charge description master, along with related financial files.
- Communicate maintenance activities to clinical departments and information systems staff to implement necessary changes affecting charge identification, capture, reconciliation, and claim processing.
- Lead annual, quarterly, and regular maintenance activities, including reviewing CPT®, HCPCS, revenue codes, RVUs, modifiers, and pricing for accuracy, compliance with billing guidelines, and hospital policies.
- Collaborate with departments to identify charging, billing, and coding issues, ensuring proper revenue capture and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Preferred Certifications:
Candidates with any of the following certifications will be highly regarded:
- CHRI – Certified Healthcare Revenue Integrity (NAHRI)
- CRCP – Certified Revenue Cycle Professional (AAHAM)
- CRCS – Certified Revenue Cycle Specialist (AAHAM)
- CRIP – Certified Revenue Integrity Professional (AAHAM)
- CCT – Certified Compliance Technician (AAHAM)
