Insurance Representative - Pre-Arrival

We are currently looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented professional to join our expanding team of Insurance Representatives - Pre-Arrival. Key Responsibilities :

Determine and verify insurance coverage and coordination of benefits from all sources.
Confirm insurance coverage and procedures, identifying the need for pre-authorization and obtaining necessary approvals for scheduled procedures.
Enter patient insurance, authorization, and order / RX information into the patient record, documenting insurance coverage of services to be provided.
Notify patients / payers of their financial responsibility for services and communicate any unauthorized services to patients and practitioners.
Engage in proactive communication with patients, practitioners, and payers regarding financial responsibility and financial clearance issues.

Qualifications :

Previous medical office or hospital clerical experience.

Extensive background in customer service.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Working knowledge of insurance verification, pre-authorization, and medical necessity.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Quick and accurate keyboarding skills.
