Insurance Representative - Pre-Arrival

Key Responsibilities :
- Determine and verify insurance coverage and coordination of benefits from all sources.
- Confirm insurance coverage and procedures, identifying the need for pre-authorization and obtaining necessary approvals for scheduled procedures.
- Enter patient insurance, authorization, and order / RX information into the patient record, documenting insurance coverage of services to be provided.
- Notify patients / payers of their financial responsibility for services and communicate any unauthorized services to patients and practitioners.
- Engage in proactive communication with patients, practitioners, and payers regarding financial responsibility and financial clearance issues.
