Leasing Agent (Experience Preferred)

Mainlander Property Management (www.mainlander.com) is a leader in managing single-family residential homes. We are a well-established business with a successful history servicing the Portland Metro Area.

At this time, we are searching for a full-time Leasing Agent to join our team!

This position will assist our Leasing Department, ultimately leading to the rental of our available properties. They will be responsible for promoting vacant properties, offering outstanding customer service to prospective tenants, and responding quickly and courteously to all rental inquiries. Ensuring information is up-to-date and duties are carried out in compliance with housing laws and regulations is key, and we are excited for our newest Leasing Agent to help us do it! It is a fast-paced environment, requiring a detail-oriented and dependable self-starter with excellent communication skills.

Our Leasing Agents interact daily with potential tenants, vendors, and employees, in-person, over the phone, and in email correspondence. The right candidate will be able to work with little supervision, work well in a team environment, and take direction when needed. They must be an outgoing individual with organization, communication, and exceptional customer service skills.

In addition, this position will also assist with Front Desk Reception duties, including answering calls, returning voicemail/emails, scheduling leasing appointments, greeting customers and assisting the Property Management Teams.

This position is based out of our office in Lake Oswego, however, Mainlander shows properties throughout the Portland Metro Area. Therefore, reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and car insurance is required. There will be ample travel between our different properties each day, so the ideal candidate will also have a reliable smartphone and must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

Priority will be given to those with relevant experience in the property management field. Previous experience using property management software, strong customer service skills, and proficiency in Google Suite will be considered as well.

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
