The Role
As a Manager 3, you will play a key role in ensuring that our services meet the highest standards and help individuals thrive. You’ll collaborate with other managers, coordinators, and stakeholders to ensure that each person we support has the best possible care, while also providing leadership and mentorship to your team.
Core Responsibilities:
- Manage Services according to policy and demonstrate operating consistent with Mains’l Vision, Mission, and Values
- Collaboration and Partnership with Regional director, Managers, Support Coordinators, Direct Support Providers, Wellness Team Members, Nurses, HR, Finance, Case Managers, guardians/Families and Stakeholders
- Provide Leadership, Coaching, and Mentorship to Managers, Support Coordinators and Direct Support Professionals in your region
- Training- Ensure initial and ongoing training of managers is consistent with Mains’l Policies and Standards. Provide Ongoing Support in their development, as well as that of their Support Coordinator and Direct Support Professionals.
- Quality Assurance- Ensure services provided meet standards, perform scheduled reviews of locations and provide additional support or recognition with appropriate.
- Partner with managers and teams to ensure annual service and other reports are completed by deadlines and stored according to Mains’l Practices
- Facilitate or Lead Service Projects or Work Groups as Needed
What You Need:
- Minimum of 3 years as a Manager or Supervisor in a program providing Direct Support Services to people who have disabilities or are 65 and older
- You must meet ONE of the following qualifications for 245D Designated Coordinator Status:
- A bachelor’s degree in a field related to human services, education, or health, plus one year of full-time experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or individuals age 65 and older, or equivalent experience working with vulnerable adults or children.
- An associate degree in a field related to human services, education, or health, plus two years of full-time experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or individuals age 65 and older, or equivalent experience working with vulnerable adults or children.
- A diploma in a field related to human services, education, or health from an accredited institution, plus three years of full-time experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or individuals age 65 and older, or equivalent experience working with vulnerable adults or children.
- A minimum of 50 hours of education and training related to human services and disabilities, plus four years of full-time experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or individuals age 65 and older, under the supervision of a staff person who meets the qualifications listed in (1) to (3).
