F&B Outlet Bartenders will be responsible for ensuring exceptional service to all guests that is consistent and continually in accordance with the Epicurean Hotels service standards and standards of Mainsail Lodging & Development. Bartenders will be responsible for making alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages by the recipe and delivering high quality food and drinks in a clean and friendly environment.

- General knowledge of cocktail crafting and mixology fundamentals
- Curate guests’ bar experience by making recommendations
- Knowledge of all beverages to include liquors and wines
- Serves guests in an efficient courteous manner following the proper steps of service
- Knowledge of proper cocktail making, as trained by Epicurean Hotel.
- Have necessary tools to run the shift such as pen, corkscrew, any bar tools, etc.
- Ability to pair wines with meals
- Understanding that bar serves full menu and must be prepared as much to serve full coursed or shared meals to guests
- Light food running when applicable, ability to carry plates that may be warm or hot
- Knowledge of all menu items to include prep time, preparations, sauces, allergies, and accompaniments
- Securing the tab and collect payment for food and beverages served
- Follow practices to ensure safe and responsible serving of alcohol
- Be aware of any specials, soups, drinks, and any items that are running low
- Ability to handle station, or when situations arise, ability to let manager/supervisor know ahead of time so as not to affect the guest experience
- Follow cash handling procedures, and must be able to explain shortages and overages
- Maintain bar area and follow the established daily checklist
- Clean glasses, utensils, and bar equipment
- Perform other duties as management requests to service our guests.
