Responsibilities

We are looking for a versatile Director of Marketing Communications to join our team and contribute to the growth and success of our company in a dynamic market environment. As a vital part of the Marketing team, and reporting directly to the VP of Marketing & Communications, your role will encompass a broad range of activities. You'll be collaborating closely with the Sales, Product Marketing, Growth, and CorpComm teams to enhance our market presence and achieve our business objectives. The role demands a proactive approach in understanding market dynamics, identifying growth opportunities, developing compelling content, and implementing effective marketing strategies.

As a Director Of Marketing Communications, You Will

  • Lead integrated marketing campaigns incl. content marketing, email, social media, digital marketing, advertising, SEO, SEM, events, etc. to increase brand awareness and generate sales leads across targeted market verticals.
  • Develop and execute the company’s email marketing strategy to generate leads and nurture existing prospects through the sales funnel.
  • Tap into market research to understand the market, develop customer personas and align/refine messaging for priority vertical markets.
  • Own company messaging architecture and copywriting across various channels and target audiences, collaborating closely with Product Marketing and Corporate Communications.
  • Write and produce compelling thought leadership, sales and marketing content to inspire audiences and to effectively communicate the value proposition of our products and services, working closely with product marketing, events, creative and growth teams.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders to ensure alignment of marketing strategies with overall business goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. An advanced degree like an MS/MBA is preferred.
  • At least 15 years of experience in marketing or communications, with a demonstrated track record in developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
  • Strong understanding of integrated marketing, digital marketing tools, and marketing analytics (SDFC, Pardot, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, SEM, etc.).
  • Exceptional writing, communication and presentation skills, with the ability to create engaging marketing collateral.
  • Experience in managing cross-functional projects and collaborating effectively with diverse teams.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while adhering to tight deadlines.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.

The Bay Area salary for this role is $157k-$185k base pre-IPO stock options benefits. This position can be remote. The salary will be adjusted to reflect local market conditions based on employee location as well as the experience of the employee.

This compensation and benefits information is based on Mainspring Energy's estimate as of the date of publication and may be modified in the future. We generally do not negotiate on salary once we have made an offer. The level of pay within the range will depend on a variety of job-related factors that may include location, relevant prior experience and/or education, or particular skills and expertise. New hires joining the company tend to be paid within the starting base pay range noted above, with opportunities to increase pay over time based on development of additional skills, competencies, and company-specific knowledge.

Salary : $157,000 - $185,000
