Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team at our brand new, extended-stay hotel. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality. Hiring for 9am to 5pm, 5pm to 1am and 1am to 9am shifts.
Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival and provide outstanding customer service throughout their stay.
- Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently, ensuring all guest information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Handle reservations, modifications, and cancellations using hotel management software.
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Maintain knowledge of hotel services, local attractions, and events to provide recommendations to guests.
- Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions.
- Assist with the night audit process as needed, ensuring all financial transactions are balanced at the end of the day.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Promote hotel amenities and services to enhance the guest experience.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Experience with ChoiceAdvantage system is a plus but not necessary.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and positive attitude.
- Proficiency in phone systems and hotel management software is a plus.
- Ability to perform night audit duties if required.
- Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply as it enhances guest communication.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing guest requests and reservations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- A background in hospitality management or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory.
