Role
We are currently seeking a well rounded and detail-oriented individual to join our team as Financial controller. This position will include compiling and analyzing financial data, complying with accounting and financial regulations, and provide transparent and complete reports to management. This position will require a firm grasp of accounting and financial practices and regulations and possess strong computer and verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage month-end financial accounting close, and provide monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports.
- Maintain control and accuracy of the general ledger
- Ensure internal financial control procedures are in place and that company complies with local, state, and federal financial regulations
- Implement budgeting and forecasting and provide financial analysis to management
- Cost accounting - analyzing project and manufacturing costs, as well as company budgets and expenses
- Supervise accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Interface with the companies' banks and insurance providers
Requirements
- 5 years experience in accounting
- Competence with software. Mainstream uses Microsoft Business Central
- Strong integrity and accountability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- CPA preferred, not required
