Urgent Care Clinic Manager - Manager Acceleration Program

MainStreet Family Care is looking for eager professionals ready to embark on their leadership journey as part of our Manager Acceleration Program (MAP). We will give you the tools and intense development experiences necessary to prepare you to manage multiple urgent care clinics (Jasper, Cumming, and East Ellijay, GA). You will have a structured 6-week onboarding and training program followed by structured leadership development workshops in your first 6 months on the job. You will then be able to experience 3 years of hands-on management and leadership experience in healthcare operations.
Program Details:
You will spend 6-8 weeks in a series of clinic and management job rotations, workshops, and special projects – all emphasizing experiential learning and feedback – and designed to accelerate your own development and build valuable relationships across the company. Following these rotations, you will be given access to professional company-funded developmental workshops in the first 6 months. You will have access to clinic and operational leaders, trainers, and consultants – all focused on your growth..
6-8 week development rotational program involves weeklong travel to Birmingham, AL, and also includes travel to other clinics in your clinic state. Some overnight travel may be required.
Ongoing Availability:
This job is management of urgent care clinics. These clinics are open 7-days-a-week for extended hours. As the frontline manager, you are responsible for the success of the facilities and the clinic staff, which includes Medical Assistants and Nurse Practitioners.
Due to the nature of the role, the person who thrives in this role is someone who is an organized planner but also thrives in managing curveballs. You are a problem solver and someone who does not let external stresses break you. This can be an emotionally and mentally exhausting job if you are not skilled at handling your own stress levels and crisis management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
This is a 3-year commitment you will be making to MainStreet Family Care. This is a 3 year and beyond commitment from MainStreet Family Care to you.
During the three years we will heavily invest in your current and future success. The first year will be focused on building the foundation for the leader you can become. In the next two years you will manage additional clinics and mature along your leadership journey.
To participate in the MainStreet program, you must be readily available, to travel to Birmingham AL and travel overnight frequently to our clinics.

- The program aims for you to successfully operate multiple urgent care clinics well before the end of the first year. Become a GREAT Clinic Manager and cultivate the skills necessary to lead in any Healthcare, Retail, or Operations environment.
- Signing Bonus: $3,000 upfront and an additional $2,000 retention bonus after 6 months.
- Competitive Salary: $50,000 base pay.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, in Healthcare Administration, Business, Management, Finance, or Life Sciences.
- At least one year experience managing others in a supervisory role.
- At least one year experience in patient-facing or customer-facing roles.
- Dedicated to providing 3-years of growing and challenging themselves.
- Initial training travel includes overnight travel to Birmingham, AL.
- Other trainings and workshops may be held at corporate headquarters in Birmingham, AL.
- There may be regional meetings or companywide meetings that include overnight travel or extensive day travel.
- You need to be good with extensive day travel as well as occasional overnights. Our clinic managers always have their boots on the ground and are physically present in their assigned clinics frequently.
- This manager role covers facilities in Hinesville and Georgia. You must be comfortable with daily travel to these areas.

Your Leadership Role as a Clinic Manager

Once you’ve been assigned a clinic, you will be responsible for:
- Enforcing company policies and procedures; you are the corporate presence in the clinics
- Smooth-running clinic operations: ensure clinic staff and operations follow our standards
- Making sure that each clinic is delivering top-tier customer satisfaction
- Dealing with day-to-day questions from the staff / troubleshooting and problem solving with the staff
- Clinic staff shift scheduling and monitoring spend against budget
- Ordering and managing medical and office supply inventory within budgeted levels
- Recruiting, screening, coaching, and managing the medical assistants that staff your clinics
- Managing the staff competency and staffing level of your clinics, including hiring and terminating
- Availability: The clinics are open 7 days a week, 12 hours a day Monday to Friday and up to 12 hours on Saturdays and Sundays, so you will be expected to be available to take calls during these operating hours. You will need to be prepared and be available as needed during operating clinic hours to promote the success of your clinics. Traveling from clinic to clinic and spending significant time at each clinic will be a foundation for your success and is required.
- Travel: You need to spend the majority of your work time in the clinics, so you must be prepared to travel to one or more clinics each day.
