POSITION: WAREHOUSE FOREMAN - MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT
LOCATION: Building 210
EFFECTIVE DATE: Immediately
SALARY: $30.37 - $33.53 per hour
SCHEDULE: 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday
6:00 a.m. –2:30 p.m.
260 day – work year
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: (Qualifications which are essential to the position)
- Recently established warehouse supervisory experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must have valid driver’s license and maintain a good driving record
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Willingness to accept and carry out directions as required
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 60 pounds unassisted
- Physical ability to do required work, which could include squatting, bending, stooping, carrying, lifting, climbing of ladders and other repetitive, demanding functions
- Ability and willingness to function as part of a departmental team
- Demonstrated exemplary customer service and responsiveness
- Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively with staff, students, and public
- Demonstrated exceptional service
- Demonstrated punctuality and a good work attendance record
- Must maintain and respect confidentiality of district records and matters
- Ability to follow safe work practices and procedures
- Must be able to work off all ladder heights, scissor lifts, and Geni Lifts
- Ability to establish and maintain professional, cooperative working relationships
- Prepare, pack, schedule, and route orders for delivery and pick up
- Handle surplus items according to District policies and procedures
- Identify operations needing development and institute innovations to adjust to current work practices and procedures
- Consult and organize activities with other teams and departments
- Control and organize storage and inventory space
- Ensure the accuracy of inventory and shipments
- Communicate position expectations and train employees
- Allocate workload fairly and efficiently between warehouse staff while giving direction
- Interact with clients to resolve problems or answer questions
- Maintain records, utilize specialized reports, and document relevant information to calculate warehouse ranks
- Set up after hours emergency moves of food and product with warehouse staff
- Manage the District records kept at Building 210 and off site (post office storage)

- In-District warehouse foreman experience
- Bilingual/Biliterate English/Spanish
- CDL driver’s license
