Maintenance Manager Role at a Prestigious Manufacturing Firm
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations of our nationally recognized manufacturing company.
Responsibilities:
- To manage and lead a team of 2-5 maintenance personnel in ensuring the smooth operation of equipment and machinery.
- To provide electrical and mechanical support in maintaining production lines, including troubleshooting and resolving issues with PLC systems.
- To develop and implement effective maintenance strategies that minimize downtime and optimize productivity.
- To collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and engineering, to resolve maintenance-related issues and improve overall plant efficiency.
- To analyze and report on maintenance metrics, including CMMS data, to inform budgeting and resource allocation decisions.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience as a management or high-level supervisor in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of managing small to medium-sized teams and achieving goals through effective leadership and communication.
- Demonstrated expertise in electrical and mechanical maintenance, including PLC troubleshooting and programming.
- Experience working in the food industry is highly desirable, but not required.
- Proficiency in CMMS software and budget management is a plus.
