We are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Production Supervisor to lead our shop team and ensure smooth daily operations.
Job Overview:
The Production Supervisor will oversee the fabrication and welding team, ensuring projects are completed on time, meet quality standards, and adhere to safety protocols. This role requires a strong background in metal fabrication (aluminum preferred), team leadership, and the ability to manage workflow in a fast-paced, growing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead the production floor, including welders, fabricators, and general shop staff
- Oversee daily workflow, assign tasks, and manage production schedules to meet deadlines
- Ensure quality control at all stages of fabrication and assembly
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues or material concerns
- Train and mentor production team members in best practices, safety, and company standards
- Monitor equipment and maintenance needs to reduce downtime
- Communicate with leadership to report progress, needs, or suggestions for improvement
- Enforce safety procedures and ensure a clean, organized work environment
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in a production or manufacturing leadership role
- Strong fabrication and welding knowledge (aluminum experience preferred)
- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and production schedules
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to lead a team with a positive, supportive approach
- Strong communication skills and problem-solving ability
- Familiarity with shop tools, machinery, and safety practices
- Comfortable working in a hands-on, fast-paced production environment
