Summary
Come join our fun and professional team for 6 weeks of summer camp starting on June 2.
Duties
- Assist in planning and implementing the daily program under the direction of the lead teacher.
- Assist in planning and preparing the learning environment, set up learning centers, and prepare needed materials and supplies, including copying and laminating.
- Supervise the classroom when the lead teacher is out of the room or absent.
- Manage cleanliness, help with diaper changes toilet training and other general classroom maintenance tasks.
- Help ensure smooth daily transition from home to classroom.
- Maintain confidentiality of children, parents and fellow staff members and follow all center policies and state regulations.
- Maintain professional attitudes and loyalty to the program at all times.
- Treat all of the children with dignity and respect.
- Attend all staff meetings and recommended training programs and conferences.
Requirements
Nice To Haves
CDA or FCCPC
More than 2 years experience in early childhood education.
45 DCF hours completed.
First Aid and CPR completed.
Benefits
No nights / weekends
Hours are 9am-2pm
